Rechargeable batteries must be recharged frequently use and long life for them. Recommended as DEWALT batteries will remain in the charger when not in use and need it at least once a week and released, but never, never be completely unloaded and loaded again, or they go bad a few months left. In my work, no problem, you use every day and usually last several years. When the batteries no longer accept a full charge, there is not much you can do nothing but acquire the conversion and new ones. And then read and follow the instructions carefully. Other wise you are wasting your money with rechargeable batteries.
